The Citrus College Men's Soccer team hosted Antelope Valley College last night in a conference game that resulted in a 1-0 loss.
The Owls move to 3-8-4 overall on the season and 1-3-1 in conference games while Antelope Valley College goes to 5-9-1 overall and 2-3 in conference games.
Citrus played well but were unable to find the back of the net on their nine shots. The Owls also earned six corner kicks in the contest but did not find success with them. Citrus College was led by three shots from Xxavir Amezquita and two shots from both Nathan Rodriguez and Angel Aspericueta.
Citrus College will begin a three-game stretch of road games beginning this Friday, November 1st as they travel to Bakersfield College for a rematch with the Renegades at 4 p.m. in whom they tied 1-1 at home back on October 15th.
