Dave Hostetler

Dave Hostetler in a member of the second Citrus College Athletics Hall of Fame, elected in 2025. Hostetler competed on the Citrus College Baseball team for two years in 1975 and 1976 where he set and still stands as the program leader in career RBIs (103) and single game RBIs (8). Hostetler was awarded Mission Conference MVP as a sophomore before transferring to University of Southern California on athletic scholarship to be a part of the 1978 College World Series Championship Trojans Baseball team. He was Drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 4th round of the 1978 MLB Draft and played five seasons in the Majors for the Expos, Texas Rangers, and Pittsburg Pirates.
